Physicians

NORTHWEST Ob/Gyn, where all our doctors are Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, was established in 1997.  Our physicians bring a wide range of educational and life experiences to the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology and are Fellows of  The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).  In addition, our physicians are involved with the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), Columbus Medical Association (CMA) and the Columbus Ob/Gyn Society. We are confident one of our physicians will be the right fit to care for your Ob/Gyn needs!

Karen G. King, M.D. received her undergraduate degree  and Masters Degree in Medical Sociology from The Ohio State University and her medical degree from The Medical College of Ohio. She completed her residency in Ob/Gyn at Riverside Hospital and has been in private practice since 1992. Currently, Dr. King is a Delegate of the OSMA and District Chair of their Political Action Committee, as well as a teaching attending at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She has served as treasurer of the CMA and President of the Columbus Ob/Gyn Society. In her free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking and exercise. In addition, she is a Deacon at her church. Dr. King lives with her husband and two children in Hilliard.

Alyson H. Leeman, M.D. completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at The Ohio State University. Her Ob/Gyn residency training was at Riverside Hospital and she has been practicing since 1993. Dr. Leeman is a member of the Peer Review Committee at Riverside Methodist Hospital where she is also a member of the teaching faculty. Her unique experiences include being a gorilla consultant at the Columbus Zoo where she performed prenatal ultrasounds for a gorilla and a C-section on the bonobo Kebi! In her free time she likes to shop, exercise, read, go to the movies, cheer for the Buckeyes, and even catch an occasional nap.  She resides in Upper Arlington with her two children.

Jaina R. Lindauer, M.D. received her undergraduate and medical degrees at The  Ohio State University. Her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was also completed at OSU where she functioned as Chief Resident at Mount Carmel Health and published research on Uterine Cancer in a 2003 issue of the Gynecology Oncology Journal. Dr. Lindauer joined Northwest Ob/Gyn in July 2003 and also  supervises the Resident Physicians in their Ob/Gyn Clinic at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In her free time Dr. Lindauer enjoys reading, Buckeye Football and spending time with her family.  She lives with her husband and three daughters in Upper Arlington.

Vicki L. Miller, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Human Health services from Baylor University and her medical degree from The Ohio State University. She completed her residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and was in private practice with The Women’s Group of Vanderbilt before joining our group in 1999. Dr. Miller is a teaching attending for the Riverside Methodist Hospital Residency Program in Ob/Gyn where she precepts residents and students in the outpatient  Ob/Gyn clinic. In her free time she enjoys travelling, interior design, reading, and spending time with family, friends and her Brittany Spaniel, Abby. Dr. Miller resides in Northwest Columbus.

Patricia L. Teach, M.D. , who joined Northwest in 2000, holds Bachelors degrees in Zoology and French from Miami University.  She received her medical degree from The Medical College of Ohio and her training in Ob/Gyn was completed at The Ohio State University, where she served as Chief Resident at Mount Carmel Health.  She has provided prenatal care through Columbus Public Health and participated in Medical Missions in the Dominican Republic and the DR of Congo.  Currently, she is a teaching attending for the residency program in Ob/Gyn at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In her free time she enjoys exercising, playing piano, reading, and spending time with her family. Dr. Teach lives in Upper Arlington with her husband, son, and daughter.
